10 November 2009 @ NIMK
NIMk and DNK present:
Launch of the Synchronator device.
SYNCHRONATOR is an audiovisual project by Bas van Koolwijk and Gert-Jan Prins, for which the artists have developed their own electronics. The project is a continuation on medium specific experiments between image and sound from the early days of video art.
After the release of the first video in 2006, a DVD in 2009 and a range of internationallive performances, their SYNCHRONATOR device will now be presented during a festive opening at NIMk.
Next to a presentation of the SYNCHRONATOR and a performance by its creators, a video programme of related works from the NIMk collection will be shown.
