The duo of Seamus Cater & Viljam Nybacka began in a DNK concert in September 2009. Since then they have toured in the U.S, the U.K, Finland, Germany, France, Holland and Belgium, developing a unique duo sound which finds inspiration in the unlikely combination of British folk music and experimental music.
The Anecdotes is a collection of ten songs, most of which are anecdotal or biographical portraits of 19th and 20th century art historical figures. Alexis Lapointe, Ewan MacColl, L.S. Lowry, Bas Jan Ader, Sergei Prokofiev and Eadweard Muybridge all find a place on the record. The album was recorded by Shahzad Ismaily (Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy) in New York in April 2011 and will be released in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies.
Rebecca Sakoun Monkeyshines No. 4.1 During the event, Rebecca Sakoun will show the first digital screening of her Monkeyshines installation which was shown in it's analogue entirety during the Capturing Metamorphosis exhibition at the Allard Pierson Museum.
