Guitarist Chris Forsyth's hypnotic compositions assimilate minimalism and psychedelia with art rock, folk, and blues influences. He is a founding member of gothic junk folk expressionists Peeesseye with Jaime Fennelly and Fritz Welch and collaborations include the likes of Tetuzi Akiyama and Meg Baird. The Paranoid Cat LP line-up includes Mike Pride, Hans Chew and Nate Wooley and was released in March 2011 on Family Vineyard. It has been described as "the work of an emergent master". Forsyth lives in Philadelphia, USA.
