a violin played with the help of a keyboard.
Ménuzum - Laptop and electronics
No tempo, no music, no noise, no rules, no knowledge, no pleasure, not nice, not new, not classic, no rhythm, not avant, not retro, no man, neither machine, no beat, no synth, no nothing, maybe nothing, but no thing.
Ronald Boersen - Viola & computer
beautiful but sharp edged electro-acoustic music with live computer processed viola.
Mike Majkowski - Double bass
an Australian bassist currently residing in Amsterdam working in the fields of new music and structured improvisation.
Dirk Bruinsma - Saxophone and laptop
DNK's Dirk Bruinsma showing a new saxophone and electronic setup.
Anne La Berge - Nord Modular and speaker
playing Black Veined White.
Yota Morimoto w/ Luc Dobereiner - Sound & image
two sonologists presenting a combined work
Open D.I. Night at DNK means many short solo presentations of hot new local and visiting artists and musicians. This is the place to see the essence of the individual performer or the rawest state of a new idea. In any case a night full of varied approaches, ideas and sounds and never boring (for more than 5 minutes).
